I am a former member of the United States Air Force with service time beginning in 2008 with termination of service in 2014. I served one deployment in Iraq between 2009 and 2010 where I served in operations protecting 1.5 Billion in assets. Upon return, I studied psychology with a focus in biopsychology at The University of Tampa from 2011 – 2014 while finishing my time in the military. I then attended the Univesity of Louisville to go on and receive my masters in public health while focused in biostatistics. My first role was as a consultant with Imperium health management in analytics to identify health care trends in the medicare markets and evaluate the new value based policies and rules coming from the Center of Medicare and Medicaid services (CMS). l returned to Tampa to take a role with Baycare Health System as a Population health analyst which eventually led to my position with Florida Blue for over the last year and a half. I work in their Medical Economics department aiding in value based health care analytics along with evaluating health care contracts with business partners and providing quarterly financial updates.
