For over 10 years, Tampa Bay Wave has supported innovative entrepreneurs. We bring together founders, mentors, partners, investors, connections, and mission-critical supporters through our accelerator and CORE programming and special events. We are built for founders, fueled by community. Our mission is to drive opportunity and prosperity by helping build, launch and grow breakout technology companies. We impact the community’s growth, jobs, talent pool and reputation for having an innovation mindset and an innovation-based economy. Our accelerators attract diverse, national, and global applicants solving critical issues in verticals like healthtech, cybertech, fintech, and more. Tampa Bay Wave is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in downtown Tampa. Wave is a "Zero-Equity" accelerator, taking no equity share in its member companies. We are able to do this by mobilizing a coalition of both public and private partners to fund operations. Wave’s extensive mentor and investor networks provide world-class startup support and funding. Through our reputation and community support, Tampa Bay Wave to become the only Florida member of the Global Accelerator Network (GAN). Since 2013, Tampa Bay Wave has supported over 500 companies raising nearly $1B in capital and creating over 5,200 jobs.
