Steve Simmons is the EVP of Compliance Services at A-LIGN. Steve’s responsibilities includes overseeing the SOC, ISO and HITRUST practices at A-LIGN. Steve has extensive experience performing SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 (SysTrust), ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 9001, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor, PCI DSS, SOX, NIST, FISMA, HITRUST, and HIPAA/HITECH engagements. Prior to his role at A-LIGN, Steve was responsible for providing a variety of internal audit and IT consulting engagements for Protiviti, a global business consulting and internal audit firm. Steve has provided services to clients in several industries including technology, healthcare, insurance, financial services, transportation and telecommunications. Steve has also provided professional services to companies of all sizes during his career, including multiple Global 1000, Fortune 500 and regional companies. Steve has also been a member of the HITRUST Assessor Council and the HITRUST Quality Council.
