Retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service (March 1988- July 2008) as an Airborne Sapper, Medic, Senior Small Group Leader, and Observer Controller.

Was the Safety, Compliance, Training and Development Manager for PODS, Inc. for five years before starting the Military Transitioning Employment Program at CareerSource Tampa Bay. Now serve as the Military Family Employment Advocate on MacDill AFB for CareerSource Tampa Bay.

Earned a Master Degree in Business with focus on International Business, a Master Degree in Project Management and studying for the Senior Professional Human Resource certification through the Veteran Career Transition Program sponsored by Syracuse University.
