Jon Katz

Jon Katz most recently spent eight years as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Vector Solutions, a Tampa-based provider of online education, safety, compliance, and performance-optimization solutions for the commercial, education and public sectors. There, he took the company through four private equity exits and orchestrated twelve acquisitions, while revenue grew by a factor of 7 over his tenure.

Prior to Vector Solutions, he was Director of Corporate Development and Financial Planning and Analysis with publicly-held Tech Data Corporation, the second largest high-tech distributor in the world with annual revenue in excess of $36 billion, where he led the team responsible for identifying, structuring, negotiating, and closing M&A transactions, as well as the team that ran and consolidated the worldwide strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting process.

Previously, Mr. Katz spent seven years with Intuit Inc., the developers of Quicken, QuickBooks, and TurboTax software, where as Director of Corporate Development he executed 20 M&A transactions, totaling nearly $1 billion. Immediately prior to Intuit, he held a number of senior positions with General Electric, most recently Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at GE’s Long Term Care Insurance division. Mr. Katz holds a Master in Business Administration in Finance and Investments and a Bachelor in Business Administration in Logistics, Operations, and Materials Management from The George Washington University.
