David Whelan has 50 years of experience in the healthcare and related industries as an entrepreneur, senior manager, and consultant. He is experienced in working with senior management and boards to create and implement a strategic vision. During his career, David has been a senior officer of several public healthcare companies, including serving as President of a public hospital company and as Chairman of a public hospital REIT. Over the last 30 years, David has managed consulting firms providing advisory services to not for profit healthcare organizations, including large health systems and small rural hospitals. David is skilled in strategic planning; corporate finance; mergers, acquisitions and affiliations; facilities development; and general management.
