Event Recap: Think Like An Entrepreneur with WITI Tampa

March 29, 2019

On Thursday, March 28, 2019 the Wave participated with the Women’s Forum at Microsoft with WITI (Women In Technology International) Tampa Network to engage with local women entrepreneurs that are interested in learning more about how to become successful in business. WITI offers this forum for women to network with each other, build relationships and idea share resources for growth and progression.

The Think Like an Entrepreneur event was moderated by SpotOn Media Founder Robyn Spoto. Robyn lead conversation with AGM Holdings, LLC Principal Owner Artemis Emslie, Hunter Business Law President Sheryl Hunter, CFO Alliance Inc. Owner Brook Evans, and Big Fish Founder and President Sara MacQueen.

The panel spent time talking about different topics but one that stood out to our team was how to financially support your business, value and purpose as women entrepreneurs of which Sheryl Hunter says, “sometimes people throw money at problems but money is not the solution.” Hunter continued, “surround yourself with confident and smarter people.”

In closing, we’d like to send a warm thank you to our hospitality sponsor Patrick Traber of  Johnson Pope for sponsoring the food at the event.
