Course Align CEO featured at Startup Grind’s first St. Pete event

November 28, 2017

Startup Grind, a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs, is hosting its first event in St. Petersburg on December 15th, 2017 at Tec Garage. One of Wave’s new cohort co-founders, Robert Blacklidge with Course Align, will be speaking in a fireside chat.

“Entrepreneurial spirit is this country’s greatest treasure, it is at events such as Startup Grind where the true diversity of entrepreneurship can be found,” Robert Blacklidge, Co-Founder & CEO of Course Align.

Course Align was one of 13 companies chosen to be a part of Wave’s Accelerator Cohort 16. Through their data-driven platform, Course Align identifies the local market job needs: who’s hiring, what skills they need, and how many people they are looking to hire all in real time; empowering university administrators to make informed decisions on how to tailor their curriculum.

“Course Align will be able to provide curriculum developers and universities with real-time data,” says Blacklidge, “So as they develop curriculum they’ll actually see what employers are hiring for and what skills they’re looking for, both hard skills, like Java, along with soft skills, like team building.”

Tickets for this fireside chat can be purchased online or at the door, learn more about this event here.
