Tampa Bay Wave Announces New Director of Development & Business Incubation

TAMPA, FL (September 12, 2016) – Tampa Bay Wave, Inc. (WAVE) has announced the selection of Stephanie Lindstrom (formerly Stephanie Ashley) as its new Director of Development and Incubation. Lindstrom, a former board member of Wave, was selected after a regional search and selection process.

“We are thrilled to be working with Stephanie,” reported Linda Olson, President and Founder of Tampa Bay WaVE. “She will bring leadership and creativity to WaVE’s incubation and coworking programs, and I am very impressed with her deep sense of commitment to fostering our region’s tech startup ecosystem. Her experience with programming, fundraising, and leadership roles with nonprofits, the USF tech incubator, and in various public sector positions has provided her with a terrific breadth of perspective and experience.”

Lindstrom’s resume includes over 10 years of incubation management, economic development, and nonprofit fundraising experience. She also has a master’s degree in public administration. Lindstrom most recently served as Director of Business Incubation and Economic Development at the University of South Florida where she oversaw the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator at the USF Research Park. Prior to that Lindstorm worked as a Manager of Economic Development for Hillsborough County, one of Tampa Bay WaVE’s largest funding sources. where she managed all aspects of the Economic Development Innovation Initiative (EDI2). a comprehensive program of Hillsborough County to drive the growth of technology and innovation startup businesses in Tampa Bay.
