Social Media day is right around the corner! On June 30th at Ferg’s Live from 6:00 to 9:00 pm there will be food, drinks (of the adult variety), and the opportunity to meet local professionals in the social media field and beyond. Social Media Day is an event that recognizes and celebrates social media’s impact on global communication, and we are excited to see it in Tampa once again for the seventh time!

There will be social contests and giveaways that will run throughout the night. Events range from electing who took the best social media day prop selfie to presenting the social media day awards. Awards will highlight who was this year’s best blogger, who had the best local Instagram account, the best social media professional and who had the best social charity. Attendee tickets for the event are free with a suggested $5 donation to the 2016 social charity, Where Love Grows, which will be supporting their cause to ending child hunger within the local community.
