Something Cool is Coming to Tampa's Tech Scene: Front End Design Conference!
June 5th, 2012 by Gracie Leigh
So some of you may have seen this character floating around lately and that can only mean one thing. Front End Design Conference is coming!
Spearheaded by Dan Denney, Front End Design Conference is a 2-day event where designers and front-end developers share information related to creating the visible portions of websites. On Friday, there will be 7 presentations from hand-picked industry leaders. Then Saturday it's up to the attendees who have volunteered to share their knowledge on 12+ topics, about 15 minutes each. In between there, Github will be sponsoring an After party Friday night, where plenty of ideas are sure to flow.
"This event is important to our community for a couple of reasons. As with most areas of the country, we have way more demand for talented web folks than we have supply. I hope that this event shows off how awesome of a place Tampa Bay is to live for people traveling in. It also serves as inspiration for the people that live here without them having to travel. It is hard to explain how great it feels to be in a room filled with other people that build for the web." – Dan Denney
Front End Design Conference is currently sold out, as they have reached maximum capacity. But I just couldn't help sharing what an awesome event is taking place in Tampa Bay this weekend. Click the link and check out their website for next year though, it's designed pretty cool too. What a surprise, huh?
oh plus:
83 Days to the RNC!
